Three people were cited as a result of an altercation in Tamaqua on Oct. 20.

Police were dispatched to the area of the Pine Street Pub at 2:31 a.m. for a reported disturbance. As the officer approached he observed two males and a female walking east on Elm Street, yelling at a man in a pickup truck.

The driver of the truck, Brad Comisac of Tamaqua, said he had been in the pub when three other patrons became loud and obnoxious. The trio was asked to leave and Comisac decided to leave too.

Once outside the trio began yelling at and threatening him. They were identified as Anthony S. Thorpe of Jim Thorpe, and Kristen Brook Hollicker and John P. Kupec III, both of Tamaqua. All three claimed Comisac started the trouble in the pub. Local residents witnessed the trio's actions against Comisac.

Thorpe, Hollicker, and Kupec were all cited for disorderly conduct.
