The Colts, coached by Stan Dick (Dakosty), open the scoring in the opening quarter when Joe Marsilio tosses a 35-yard scoring pass to Joe Richards. In the second, Mike Makovec hits Lou Hirochek with an 18-yard TD pass for what proves to be the winning score. Marian's defense only allows 62 rushing yards and gets a key interception from Richards at the goal line.
