A Tamaqua business is among four Schuylkill County licensed establishments cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violations of the liquor code.

Keystone Fish & Hunt Club, 421 Nescopec St., was cited for failure to adhere to by-laws. The violations occurred during the period of October 7, 2012, through May 5.

Also cited were:

James Marrone, trading as Marrone's Cafe, 31-37 W. Main St., and rear 39 W. Main St., Girardville. The business is charged with sold alcoholic beverages after the restaurant liquor license expired. The violation dates listed were March 31, April 2-4-6-7-9-11-12-13-14-16-18-19-20-21-23-26-27-28 and 30.

Mine Shaft Cafe Inc., aka, Mine Shaft Cafe, 1116-1138 Center St., Ashland, was cited for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor, 19 years of age. The violation occurred on June 26.

Joseph A. Valenti Enterprises Inc, trading as Valentis II Pizza & Subs, 107 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, was cited for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor, 19 years of age. The violation occurred on June 26.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge an also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge.
