Students at Our Lady of the Angels Academy recently celebrated Thank A Police Officer Day by honoring local officers at the school. Officer Chris Ondrus of the Lansford Police Department visited the classrooms to spend time with students and answer questions they had about the duties and daily work of a police officer. In return, the students gave him homemade gifts to share with the officers at the station in thanks for their service to the school community and the protection they provide.
