Carbon Builders Association will host a free OSHA Awareness Seminar at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the CBA office, 390 Ore St., Bowmanstown.

This seminar gives building contractors the opportunity to ask questions about OSHA and how it relates to their business.The presenter is Joe Thomas, independent business owner, trainer, violation/fine mediator and CBA member, who is not an OSHA employee. The program will discuss: site specific standards relative to your business, the value of safety training and the 5 percent discount on workers comp, risk management and protecting your assets, employee rights and whistle-blower, OSHA record keeping, the value of having safety training and/or safety policy, creating a culture within your business.
