State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one-vehicle crash in Carbon County that occurred on Nov. 8. It was one of three crashes troopers investigated recently.

Troopers said Olga G. Herman, 32, of East Stroudsburg, was driving a 2013 Lexus RX350 westbound on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township about 8:22 a.m. when she struck a deer that had entered the roadway. Herman suffered a minor injury from the air bag deployment, troopers said. She was taken by Lake Harmony ambulance to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

A one-vehicle crash occurred about 2:37 p.m. Nov. 7 along Warner Road, just south of Sunny Ride Court, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Matthew J. Rubin, 41, of East Stroudsburg, was northbound driving a 2006 Suzuki Forenza when he failed to negotiate a left curve. The Forenza went onto the right berm and struck a tree with the front passenger side causing minor damages. Rubin was not injured.

Another one-vehicle crash occurred on Nov. 7, about 9:51 p.m. along SR209 in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Pamela T. Mannion, 39, of Henryville, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander northbound when the vehicle went off the road on the left berm and struck a utility pole. Mannion was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
