A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Mountain Laurel Grill Inc, Mountain Laurel Golf Club, Box 9A1, East Side, White Haven, was cited for selling alcoholic beverages after their privately owned public golf course liquor license expired on Aug. 31, and had not been renewed and/or validated.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
