Tamaqua Area High School senior Jaclin Valasek receives tips on how to apply costume makeup from Empire Beauty School student Angela Bowman of Hometown. Members of the Tamaqua High School Drama Club were given costume tips and tricks that taught them how to transform fellow actors' faces into works of art for future shows. Lessons learned ranged from styling wigs to applying costume makeup. Teachers and students with Empire Beauty School donated their time Wednesday during an after-school program held via Laura Makuta's Family Consumer Science class.
