State police at Lehighton reported a drug arrest made on May 21 about 3:33 p.m.

Troopers said August Eli Harsch, 23, of Saylorsburg, pulled into the Shell Service Station, located along SR209, and walked into the convenience store to pay for gas. At this time troopers observed Harsch to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Also, troopers said a passenger, Brenda Joyce Stevens, 22, also of Saylorsburg, was found to be in possession of controlled substances. Troopers noted a three-year-old infant was in the vehicle at the time.

Drug charges were filed, troopers added.
