St. Luke's holds EMS week

Showing their appreciation to area emergency medical services and volunteers, staff and members with St. Luke's University Health Network held a weeklong of related events. One of the events held Thursday evening involved inviting area EMTs and paramedics to an appreciation mixer at the St. Luke's Hospital - Miners Campus in Coaldale. While there, visitors were treated to food and drinks as well as receiving three free credits toward their 24 credit/3 year requirement. Training involved discussions about strike assessment, trauma reviews and muscularskeletal injuries.
