Join Wildlands Conservancy on the 17th annual Lehigh River Sojourn Friday, June 21 – Monday, June 24. The Lehigh River Sojourn is an educational whitewater rafting, canoeing or kayaking trip down the Lehigh River. Sojourners experience all of the treasures of nature – scenic views, visits from resident wildlife, amazing recreational opportunities and a shared appreciation for preserving the environment through educational stewardship opportunities.

The trip stretches from the rapids of the Lehigh Gorge and ends in the calming waters at Northampton Canal Park. Fees include campsite, shuttle service, delicious meals, education programs and entertainment for each day registered. Participants have the option of registering for one, two or all three days.

The first day will be whitewater rafting followed by two days of canoeing and kayaking. Register online at www.wildlandspa.org. Pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is Friday, June 7.

Canoe rentals are available. Sojourners provide their own camping equipment. Pocono Whitewater Adventures will provide rafts on Day 1 of the trip.

The Lehigh River Sojourn's Safety Crew is supervised by the Northeast PA Kayaking School and is comprised of members from the Lehigh Valley Canoe & Kayak Club and National Canoe Safety Patrol.
