"We are open and glad to be here," said Steven and Valarie Dunn, owners of Dunn's Farm Market, located at the intersection of SR443 and SR309 in South Tamaqua, West Penn Township. The market was closed a few weeks longer as they worked with township officials to resolve various code enforcement issues.

"We want to make sure everyone knows we are open," said Valarie. "We (township officials and the Dunns) have come to a resolution. We have agreed to agree."

"Everybody is glad to know we are open again," said employee Marie Miller. "We've been really busy since we opened."

Valarie added that they are in the process of finalizing their permit to sell Leiby's Ice Cream again.

"We would like to welcome our valued customers and thank them for their concerns and support as we dealt with these issues," said Valarie. "We had a lot of support."

In addition to a large variety of flowers, the stand offers pant bedding, fresh fruits and vegetables and a gift shoppe items.

Some popular plant and colorful flower items include hanging baskets, combination flowers, daisies, patunias, million bells, urn planters and much more.

The market's hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the spring and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting in July.
