A Montgomery County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) in Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said John L. Deuber, of Bala-Cynwyd, was driving along Longbrook Way at Woodland Road, in Indian Mountain Lakes, Penn Forest Township, about 2:27 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2009, when he failed to negotiate the above intersection and drove into a yard and sideswiped a tree.The vehicle continued through the yard and into a line of trees driving through them. His vehicle then struck a sports utility vehicle in a second driveway where it came to rest. No one was injured.Deuber was found to be under the influence and charged with DUI, troopers said.
