According to the Pocono District of Penn State Extension, a "Technology Tuesdays: Feed Storage and Handling System Design" free online workshop designed for dairy producers, their employees and advisers will be held on March 26, from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

Feed is a large expense for the dairy operation. The storage and handling of that feed is critical to getting the most production out of that feed.

Discussion will include designing and managing the feed system and fitting it into the overall dairy system, storage types, shrink, biosecurity and safety. It will be presented by Dan McFarland and John Tyson, Penn State Extension engineers.

Registration is free, but is required no later than noon the day before.

Register by phone at 888-373-7232, or online at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/technologytuesdays. If you are unable to access the webinar live, the sessions are recorded for use at a later time and can be found at http://extension.psu.edu/animals/dairy/health/educational-programs/techn...
