Visitors to the Tamaqua Community Arts Center were treated to an evening of Irish song and dance Saturday.
Providing the foot-tapping entertainment were members of "The Trouble" Irish band, along with students of McCormick School of Irish Dance School.Adding a number of their own renditions to their palet of traditional Irish songs, band members Loretta Murphy, Patrick Miggins and Paul Noon kept the crowd entertained.Students from the dance school, ranging from kindergarten to adults, also kept the crowd amused with their coordinated dancing.Proceeds from the event benefited the St. Joseph's Center in Pottsville.
