The seventh semiannual Kid's Closet Sale's spring and summer event will be held on March 21 through March 24 at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall, 101 E. 10th St., Jim Thorpe.

The event is coordinated by Danielle Andreas of Lehighton.

Andreas started this event to help parents of babies and young children have the opportunity to save money on new or gently used, name brand children's and big kids items.

"The sellers can clean out, have fun and do something positive to help others and make some extra cash," notes Andreas, who has a young family at home.

There is a deadline for sellers to take part. Items need to be registered by March 17.

Volunteers who assist with promoting or working at the event have early shopping incentives.

"If your child has outgrown clothes and toys aren't interesting anymore, this may be a way for parents to have money in their pocket," she said.

The event will feature clothing for youngsters from new born to teens, toys, games, books, baby equipment, furniture and more. All items will be in good, clean condition.

The sale will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 22 through March 24. Items sell for half price on March 24.
