State police at Lehighton reported on the following driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

Troopers said Joshua Noel Yorgey, 32, of Lehighton, was stopped about 9:52 a.m. on June 19 along Union Hill Road, in Franklin Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. The charge is pending blood test results, troopers added.

Joseph Albritton, 47, of Saylorsburg, was stopped about 2 a.m. on Friday, June 21, along SR209 near Lesh Rd., in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, after being observed driving erratically. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was transported to the county DUI center for a blood test. The charge is pending the test results.

At 3:30 a.m. on Friday troopers investigated a one vehicle crash along Pohopoco Derive, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. Mark C. Binder, 26, of Jim Thorpe, was involved in the crash. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. The charge is pending blood test results, troopers added.

At 3:13 a.m. on Friday troopers stopped Idriz C. Rugova, 19, of Brooklyn, N.Y., along SR115 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. The charge is pending blood test results.

At 10:50 p.m. Friday Paul J. Richard Jr., 52, of Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, was stopped along Fireline Road in the township for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Charge to be filed, troopers said.

On Saturday, June 22, about 12:15 a.m. troopers stopped Elliot Allen Christman, 18, of Kunkletown, along Pohopoco Drive, near Koch Rd., in Towamensing Township, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence of a suspected controlled substance and placed under arrest. Charges will be filed, troopers added.
