Rush Township police have released details of an accident that damaged a home at 735 Claremont Ave. (SR309) on June 6.
Richard R. Leslie, 64, of Hamburg, was traveling south on SR309 when he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of his 2004 Ford pick up truck. The vehicle left the roadway and struck multiple pieces of machinery owned by Donald Ansbach, 731 Claremont Ave., then continued on until it struck the home.
The damaged equipment included an air compressor, lawn mower, and leaf blower.
Leslie refused medical treatment at the scene. The truck had to be towed from the scene.
