A Carbon County driver is facing several charges, including driving under the influence (DUI), following an incident that occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

State police at Lehighton said Robin S. Rhyder, 48, of Lehighton, was observed committing several motor vehicle code violations along SR248 in Parryville at about 10:10 p.m.A traffic stop was made and Rhyder was found to be under the influence of alcohol. She was transported for a blood test. She is facing charges of DUI (pending blood test results), driving under suspension, driving unregistered vehicle, uninsured, uninspected and seat belt violation.
