Tamaqua's Brett Kosciolek has been selected to represent Pennsylvania in the second annual Big 26 Baseball Classic.

Kosciolek, along with Pine Grove's Stephen Zimmerman and Liberty's Matthew Leon, will represent Pennsylvania in a three-game series against the All-Stars from Maryland on July 26-28 at Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg.

The team will be coached by Pottsville's Mike Welsh.

Kosciolek led the Blue Raiders this season with a .420 batting average, eight home runs and 27 RBIs.

He was also a force on the mound, compiling a 7-1 record with a 1.13 ERA in 49 innings pitched.
