Proposals are being accepted to pave Northern Lehigh School District's stadium parking lot.

The district will receive bids to replace existing pavement at Bulldog Stadium until 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 11.

Greg Derr, director of support services and transportation, said the project is necessary "due to the age and condition of the stadium parking lot."

Derr added "we want to have safe facilities for students, staff, and community members who come to Bulldog Stadium."

Last month, the school board agreed to authorize administration to enter into a contract with the successful bidder for the paving project with a not to exceed amount of $250,000. The project will be paid from the district's Capital projects account.

The district unveiled its state-of-the-art multipurpose field, which includes an artificial surface, scoreboard, and security camera system, last fall.
