Yudichak named 'Top Legislator'

HARRISBURG, May 31, 2013 - - The Pennsylvania Fraternal Alliance recently presented state Sen. John Yudichak (D-Luzerne/Carbon/Monroe) with their prestigious 2013 Legislator of the Year Award.

"Throughout my time in the legislature, I have gained an immense amount of respect for our fraternal societies and the great work they do in every community across the Commonwealth," Yudichak said. "While I am certainly humbled and honored by this recognition - it would not have been possible without the guidance and assistance of the great leaders at the Fraternal Societies of NEPA who have made me a better advocate for all of our fraternal societies."Yudichak, who serves as the Senate Democratic Chairman of the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, has been a member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly for more than a decade."The Pennsylvania Fraternal Alliance was honored to present State Senator Yudichak with this award in appreciation of his efforts in support of the fraternal benefit system," Pennsylvania Fraternal Society President Linda Storm said. "Only through this type of support can we continue to do the good works that we do."The Pennsylvania Fraternal Alliance organized in 1901 and is comprised of 62 fraternal societies with a combined membership of over 700,000 fraternalists.
