State police at Lehighton reported on several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

Jayne M. Mueller, 50, of Brodheadsville, was stopped about 10:30 p.m. on May 22 along SR209, north of Gilbert Rd., in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.

Troopers said Mueller resisted arrest and will be charged with that offense.

On Saturday, May 25, about 4:21 p.m. troopers stopped Jeremy Goldberg, 20, of Tinton Falls, N.J., along SR209, near Trachsville Hill Rd., in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.

Also on Saturday, about 2:13 a.m., Heinz Karl Rother, 52, of Saylorsburg, was stopped on Hamilton South, east of Old Route 115, in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, for vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.

Eric Michael Kester, 27, of Parryville, was stopped about 8:31 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, at the intersection of state routes 248 and 209, in Weissport. He was found to be under the influence and was taken to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test.

On Monday, May 27, about 1:07 a.m. troopers stopped Jordan Gregory Shiffer, 22, of Fogelsville, along Fireline Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.

Kelly Marie Denlea, 27, of Wilkes-Barre, was stopped about 2:06 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, along SR715 in Jackson Township, Monroe County, for vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest. Troopers also found him to be in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Also on Tuesday, about 12:42 a.m., troopers stopped Nathan Narkavich, 36, of Stroudsburg, along Business Route 209, in Hamilton Township, after observing him driving erratically. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then transported to the county DUI center for a blood test. Charges are pending.
