"Nature in Art" is the theme for Lehigh Gap Nature Center's first juried art exhibition to be held in the Osprey House located at 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington.

The show includes painting, drawing, printmaking, works on paper, and sculpture.

The jurors are Kay Stauffer and Anita Collins

The exhibition will be open July 27 - Aug. 9. An artists' reception will be held July 28, 3 p.m.

Admission for the public is free. Artists will be selling their work.

Hours are: weekdays – 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; evenings July 30, 31, Aug. 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 from 6 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Artists are encouraged to come to LGNC to do plein air work at any time, especially during the exhibition. There are lots of views, lovely plants, great rocks, and critters.
