Three Carbon County residents were arrested on Friday, July 12, following an incident involving a gun. State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred about 1:40 p.m. at 7 Fox Hill Road, in Penn Forest Township.

Troopers responded to that address for a report of a man threatening to shoot two people with a handgun. On scene David Keyser, 62, of Albrightsville, was identified as the person threatening to shoot the two people. The victims were identified as Kassie Krupiak, 32, and John Keyser, 37, also of Albrightsville.

David Keyser was taken into custody without incident. A search of the home resulted in the seizure of a Glock 22, .40-caliber handgun and a DPMS AR-15 rifle. The handgun had been previously reported stolen by Bensalem police in Bucks County.

Troopers said charges were filed against the three as follows:

David Keyser was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, persons not to possess a firearm, and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned before a district judge and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.

John Keyers was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, persons not to possess a firearm, and receiving stolen property. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant issued to Lower Pottsgove police, Montgomery County, for burglary. He was committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning, in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and a detainer on the warrant.

Kassie Krupiak was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Lower Pottsgove police for burglary. She was committed to the county prison on a detainer for the warrant.
