Two persons are facing charges following an incident that occurred about 1:28 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, in the area of 89 Park Place Road, in Mahanoy Township. Troopers also reported on a domestic incident.
State police at Frackville said Dina Quinn, 33, and Tyler Smith, 27, both of Mahanoy City, have had an ongoing verbal argument with May Byrne, 39, of Mahanoy City, over them riding four wheel all terrain vehicles (ATVs), at all hour of the night near Bryne's residence.
At the time and date stated a verbal argument escalated when Quinn drove her car towards Bryne while Smith opened the passenger side door striking Bryne. Bryne suffered a bruised left arm and possible back injury.
Quinn and Smith are facing charges, including simple assault, troopers said.
The domestic incident occurred at 523 Buck Mountain Road, Zion Grove, in North Union Township. Troopers said Stephanie A. Hooper, 22, and Michael A. Hooper, 24, both of that address, were involved in an altercaton. At some point during the altercation it became physical and Michael allegedly pushed Stephanie and she sustained a minor injury.
Michael Hooper was issued a citation for harassment, troopers said.
