The following action was filed as a mortgage foreclosure for alleged default on a loan.

Wells Fargo Bank, c/o 3476 Stateview Blvd., Fort Mill, S.C., filed against Wendi and Thomas B. Bartholomew Jr., 224 Colmubia Ave., Palmerton, over property at that address. Sought is $116,755.86 and continuing interest.

Suit over fire

State Farm Fire and Casualty, 112 E. Washington St., Bloomington, Ill, as subrogee for Jacqueline Ann Collevechio, filed a civil action against Perry Shelton, individually, and trading as Shelton's Home Improvements, 227 W. Holland St., Summit Hill, and PPL Electric Utilities, 2 N. Ninth St., Allentown.

The suit states defendant Shelton was hired to put a new roof on the property of Collevechio located at 200 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill. On July 7, 2011, a fire started in the residence while Shelton's employees were working on the roof and as a result of PPL power line arcing causing damsges detailed in the suit.

The suit alleges breach of warranty, breach of contract, and negligence against the defendants. Sought are damages not in excess of $50,000 plus costs, interest, and fees.

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Remit Corporation, Bloomsburg, filed against Theresa M. Listner, 5 Tallwood Drive, Albrightsville, seeking $13,168.08.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, Norfolk, Va., filed four actions as follows: Robert Douglas, 510 N. Eigth St., Lehighton, seeking $1,142.57; Patricia Daly, 13 Mountain Rd., Albrightsville, seeking $1,134.58; Damon Trine, 714 Mahoning St., Lehighton, seeking $886.86; and Claudine Otto, 225 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe, seeking $1,259.06.

LVNV Funding, Philadelphia, filed against Jennifer F. Koch, 220 N. Second St., Lehighton, seeking $1,039.17.

Divorces started

Sherri Ann Mandart, 106 S. Vine St., Hazleton, filed against Rocco Thomas Mandart, 16 Tamaqua St., Beaver Meadows. They were married Oct. 2, 1999.

Courtney M. Konklin, 92 Yellow Run Rd., Jim Thorpe, filed against Matthew R. Konklin, same address. They were married Oct. 27, 2006.

Bill owed

Joseph Homanko, dba, J.S. Lawn Care, 39 Jefferson St., Weatherly, has filed a civil action against Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 318 Plane St., Weatherly, and the Catholic Diocese of Allentown, 4029 W. Tilghman St., Allentown, alleging a bill is owed for services rendered.

The suit states from March 17, 2011, into 2013, the plaintiff provided lawn care and landscaping services to the Weatherly church per a contract entered into between the parties.

The suit alleges a bill of $39,743.08 plus interest, costs, and fees is owed.
