Performers at the Strawberry Playhouse in Tuscarora are presenting three performances of Alice in Wonderland this weekend at the playhouse. Over 30 characters will be represented during the 13-act show.

"I enjoyed every piece of this project," said director Stephanie Mau. "It was full of hard work and dedication; but it was all worth it when I watched how the children blossomed and performed on stage."

"I wanted to direct this show because I have a love for children's theater," added Mau. "It teaches the children discipline, responsibility, and most of all to have confidence in themselves. It is something that I believe every child should have the opportunity to experience. I started performing at The Strawberry Playhouse when I was eight years old and it helped me become who I am today."

The shows are today and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
