Towamensing stays alive; FT Shockers clinch title

Towamensing/Palmerton stayed alive in the District 18 11-12 Little League tournament while the Franklin Township Shockers clinched the regular season title in the Keystone Senior Babe Ruth League.

The title also gives FT a bye in the opening round of the upcoming playoffs.David tossed six innings of three-hit shutout baseball. He allowed two hits and struck out five batters. Nick Hill hurled a scoreless seventh frame for the Shockers.Parker David had two hits and scored a pair of runs for the winners while Brady Niehoff added a hit and knocked in two runs.
