Adult Day Services at Blue Mountain Health System will hold its Family Caregiver Support Group from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Adult Day Center, 6th and Iron streets in Lehighton.

Attendees are invited to share comments, suggestions and ideas to help support each other and nurture friendships while learning to cope with the 24 hour-a-day job that can be physically and emotionally exhausting to the caregiver.The support group centers on caregivers tending to family members with Alzheimer's, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's, or other physical or mental disabilities.The group offers education and community support from other caregivers who really do understand your daily obligations.Meetings are free and open to the public. Care is available for your loved one during the meeting and light refreshments will be available. The Adult Day Center Family Caregiver Support Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every other month.For more information and to register, call 610-826-1160.
