Details of a two-vehicle accident in Rush Township on Jan. 3 indicated a Lansford woman, Marie Gallagher, turned into the path of a vehicle operated by Kali Chrush of Tamaqua. The accident write up in the Jan. 4 edition of the TIMES NEWS was incomplete.

According to the accident report, Gallagher was traveling south on SR309 in a 2001 Subaru when she made a left turn on to Tide Road. Gallagher turned into the path of a northbound 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, driven by Chrush. Chrush was unable to avoid striking the Gallagher car.No serious injuries were reported, but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
