Details of a two-vehicle accident in Rush Township on Jan. 3 indicated a Lansford woman, Marie Gallagher, turned into the path of a vehicle operated by Kali Chrush of Tamaqua. The accident write up in the Jan. 4 edition of the TIMES NEWS was incomplete.

According to the accident report, Gallagher was traveling south on SR309 in a 2001 Subaru when she made a left turn on to Tide Road. Gallagher turned into the path of a northbound 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, driven by Chrush. Chrush was unable to avoid striking the Gallagher car.

No serious injuries were reported, but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
