A one-vehicle crash along a Schuylkill County road on Wednesday morning was caused by weather conditions.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said John Ulrich, 28, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger XLT pickup truck along Brick Hill Road, in West Brunswick Township, about 10 a.m. when he lost control on the snow and slush covered road.

The truck spun clockwise and went onto the north berm. The truck then struck an embankment, became airborne, flipped onto its roof, and struck a utility pole. The truck came to final rest along the north berm facing south on its roof. Ulrich was not injured but the truck had to be towed from the scene.
