The Marian boys clinched a spot in the District 11 playoffs with a win over Tri-Valley on Monday.

The Colts rolled to a commanding 74-28 Schuylkill League win over the Vikings.

Ryan Karnish had the hot hand for Marian (11-3, 4-3) finishing with a game-high 22 points, while Alden Whah added 10.

Devin Masser paced the Bulldogs with a team high 10 points.

Pottsville-Jim Thorpe

A slow start doomed Jim Thorpe as Pottsville ran away with a 63-34 Schuylkill League Division I victory on the road.

The Tides' Brandon Bridy led all scorers with 19 points, while Travis Blankenhorn netted 13.

Mike Harleston finished with an Olympian high eight points.

In the JV game, Jim Thorpe escaped with a 53-50 win over Pottsville. Khadir Lindsey recorded 21 points for the Olympians while Jordan McElmoyle followed with 19.
