A poor shooting night from the foul line and a slow start spelled doom for the Bulldogs, as they dropped a Colonial League decision to Saucon Valley, 56-50.

Keith Mosher led the Panthers (3-9) with a game-high 21 points on the night, while teammate Matt Laub added 14.

Northern Lehigh (7-3; 4-3) was led by Caleb Johnson's 18 points, with Josh Eden adding 11.

Saucon Valley-Tamaqua

The Blue Raider swim teams pulled off a sweep over Saucon Valley with the boys edging out the Panthers, 84-83 and the Lady Raiders pulled away from their foes, 107-63.

Individually for Tamaqua, the boys' team got two firsts from Jake Kropp, who also helped win two relays, while teammates Benjamin Turrano and Matt Stanek both took two individual firsts and one relay win.

For the girls' team, Miranda Amey, Danielle DeCindio, Joanne Butkus and Caroline Kanaskie all took two individual firsts and helped both of their respective relays take the wins.
