Summit Hill crash injures woman

A 20-year old Brodheadsville woman was injured Monday afternoon when involved in a crash along East White Bear Drive in Summit Hill. The crash occurred at 5:22 p.m. as the victim and a relative were traveling east. Summit Hill police report the female was attempting to pass three cars when she lost control entering the left berm then re-entering and crossing the roadway where the unit entered the right berm impacting with and snapping off a utility pole. The car then rolled onto its roof. The woman was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and transported to an area hospital. Responding was the Diligence Fire Co. No. 1 of Summit Hill with their fire police shutting down the roadway. Summit Hill police are investigating the incident.
