Pink Floyd has set high standards for other bands to live up to, especially tribute bands. Most musicians would not even attempt it that is until the band The Pink Floyd Experience happened along.
Annerin Productions scoured the globe for the talent they needed to succeed in the endeavor and they have found it in the six musicians that comprise The Pink Floyd Experience (PFX).
Tom Quinn (band leader, lead guitar) discovered his love of Pink Floyd in 1973 and has been committed to their sound ever since. He says PFX began in 1994, hit the stages in 1995 and garnered several San Diego Music Awards from 1999 to 2003.
Gus Beaudoin (bass) joined Tom in 1997 and they would play Floyd music together anywhere people would let them set up their equipment.
Zach Thorne (guitar, vocals) has recorded, performed and/or sung with a host of musicians including Anthrax, Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Barenaked Ladies and Lemmy from Motorhead.
Jesse Molloy (sax) also tours nationally with his group On The One and has shared the stage with many musicians including Karl Denson and The Wailers. John Cox (keyboards) is self taught and has been playing since he was 9.
Bob Sale (drums) is Canadian born but calls San Diego his home now. He has been playing professionally since he was 15, working with many musicians along the way and even working on the soundtrack to the movie "That Thing You Do!"
