Police said about 12:13 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, they stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at SR940 and Summit Drive, in Tobyhanna. A further investigation led to police conducting a search of the vehicle.

A narcotics K9 unit was brought to the scene and alerted officers to a duffel bag which was located on the passenger floor. The bag was found to contain a large amount of bulk narcotics including about 100 bags of heroin, 150 ecstacy pills, and powder cocaine.
