The annual Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society Telethon Committee will hold a Chinese auction on Sunday, March 24 beginning at noon at Lakeside Ballroom, Route 54, Barnesville. There will be chances to win selective raffle prizes, 50/50 drawings, great food, fresh baked goods and candy, Polka Joe will perform from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and entertainment by Cody Scott.

The auction drawing begins at 3 p.m. Some of the top prizes on the specially purchased "white ticket" include a Dell laptop computer, gift certificate for fuel oil, $1,500 cash prize, NASCAR Sprint Cup tickets, Apple ipad2 with Wi-Fi, gas gift card, Hershey Lodge stay, Kindle Fire, trampoline, muzzleloader, 32" HD TV, and area restaurant gift certificate packs.
