Following a plea for strong volunteers, members of the Tamaqua Historical Society were surprised with the amount of people who showed up Saturday morning to help move and transport heavy items from the museum to temporary storage. The move is being done in preparation for major improvement renovations planned over the next year. Volunteers move an antique firefighter's hose cart onto the back of a flatbed truck. Hope's Towing donated their services.
