Carl D. Rumbel, 31, of Ringtown will be cited by state police at the Frackville barracks for having caused an accident at 8:24 a.m. Dec. 19 on Route 61 in Ryan Township.

Police said he was driving a 1997 Ford Escort southbound on Rt. 61 when he failed to stop for a vehicle in front of his and the Escort struck the rear of the 2013 Kia Sorento, operated by Janice E. Bradbury, 58, of Shenandoah.The Escort needed to be towed from the scene.Neither driver was hurt.
