Tamaqua police have cited Nicole Baer, 25, of 143 Penn St., Tamaqua, following an incident at her mother's home on Nov. 25.
Police were dispatched to 302 Hazle St. at 8:40 p.m. for a report of an unwanted person. At the scene they found Baer, standing at the bottom of an outside stairwell, with a large rock in her hand. Initially, she refused to drop the rock, until Patrolman Matthew Houser warned her he would use his taser.
At that point she cast the stone aside and began yelling at her mother claiming she wanted to go inside and talk about her mother's boyfriend. The older woman refused to allow her access to the apartment.
When Baer refused repeated warnings from the officer to leave the premises she was arrested and transported back to the police station.
She was cited for disorderly conduct.
