Rush Township police will file charges against Michael Sedlock, 26, of Tamaqua, following a traffic stop on July 31.

Sedlock was stopped on Claremont Avenue at 1 a.m. He appeared to be in an intoxicated condition and was transported to St. Luke's Miners Hospital, Coaldale, for blood tests.Test results indicate he had heroin in his system. He will be cited for driving under the influence (DUI) of a controlled substance as well as the traffic citations.
