A Monroe County woman has been arrested as the result of a domestic dispute.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 12:40 a.m. on Friday, April 19, they responded to 39 Raccoon Lane, in the Pocono Forest development, in Gouldsboro, Coolbaugh Township, to a report of a domestic incident.On scene they were met by Fred Strausser, 47, of that address, who told them that Shannon Hall, 36, who also resides there, had hit him with a ceramic skull object about the left ear causing an injury. He also claimed Hall struck him about the back of the head causing a minor injury.Hall was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment. She was transported to the county prison in Snydersville for processing. A hearing is scheduled for a later date.
