With the score knotted at four, each team scored four runs in their half of the fifth inning to make for an interesting contest. Both teams then went in order in the sixth before the umpires suspended the game due to darkness.Ryan Saylor and Jon Schwartz were both 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Palmerton. Saylor singled in runs in the first and the fifth, while Borger also had RBI-singles in the fourth and the fifth.
