Marian gets track, baseball wins

Marian earned a sweep in Schuylkill League track action Thursday while the Colts baseball team also posted a victory.

In other action, the Northwestern girls swept a Colonial League tri-meet while the Pleasant Valley tennis team earned a shutout.Nativity-MarianThe Marian track squad got a nice win on Thursday afternoon over division rival Nativity.The Colts and Fillies swept the Hilltoppers for the Schuylkill League Division 2 victory, with many Marian athletes performing well on the day.Dylan Quirk (100, high jump, 400 relay), and Nico Agosti (200, 1,600, and 3,200 relay) were the top dogs on the day for the Colts, each winning three events.On the Girls side MaryKate Sherkness dominated in the jumping events.
