The Palmerton Area Historical Society will hold its first regularly monthly meeting of the new year on Monday, Jan. 9, in the Knight's Gallery of the Palmerton Area Library.

Jack Gunsser will present the program, "For heaven's sake what's that bring something to challenge the expert."A brief business meeting starts at 7 p.m. followed by the presentation.
