A Monroe County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

JNS Enterprises, trading as Jonny's Bar N Grill, Box 184, Hamilton Township, was cited for an incident on Aug. 15. The board stated the licensed premises was not a bona fide hotel in that bedrooms maintained for the accommodation of guests were insufficient in number and/or inadequately equipped.

The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also imposed a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
