The Americans for Prosperity bus tour will be making a stop at the Lehighton Park on Friday at 7 p.m.

Prior to the arrival of the bus, there will be free musical entertainment by the oldies band, Remember When, beginning at 6 p.m.

On board the AFP bus will be Tucker Carlson, columnist, political news correspondent and libertarian conservative commentator for the Fox News Channel.

As a magazine and newspaper journalist, Carlson has reported from around the world. He has been a columnist for Reader's Digest and New New York. He has also written for numerous other publications, including The New York Times Magazine, The New Republic, and Esquire.

Carlson joined CNN as its youngest anchor ever, remaining at the network until February 2005. He got his television start in 2000 as co-host of The Spin Room.

He later was appointed co-host of Crossfire, where he represented the political right. During the same period, Carlson also hosted a weekly public affairs program on PBS.

Also present will be Jennifer Stefano and Katy Abram of Americans for Prosperity.

There will be hot dogs and other refreshments for attendees served at Diggity Dog, South First Street, compliments of Americans for Prosperity.
