19 area residents among 89 arraigned

Nineteen area residents were among 89 who were arraigned Monday before District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon at the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested jury trials.

Scott Ferryman, 38, of 127 E. Phillip St., Coaldale, charged by Coaldale Patrolman Joseph Krebs, with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol last Feb. 26 on Fifth Street, driving while his operating privileges were suspended, and failing to lower his high beam lights to approaching vehicles.Timothy M. Dunstan, of 210 E. Patterson St., Lansford, charged by Mahanoy City Cpl. Michael Dissinger, with possession of drug paraphernalia in 400 block on W. Market St.William T. Sipler, 51, of 190 Claremont Avenue, Tamaqua R.D, charged by Rush Sgt. Duane Frederick, with theft of unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property. The information filed to court claims he ordered 100 gallons of home heating oil from Tirpak Oil Company, Tamaqua, and failed to pay.Kirk W. Oldt, 48, of 231 Market St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with simple assault and harassment of Sam Nice in restroom at Happy Endings Bar.Michael Joseph Flaherty, 49, of 206 W. Sherman St., McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Patrolman Robert Minnick, with delivery of a controlled substance (CS) by selling six morphine pills for $7 each to a confidential informant (CI) at N. Hancock and W. Blaine sts., and possession of a CS.Lisa Ann Ketchledge, 49, of 14 Hazle St., Apt. 2, Delano, charged by Rush Patrolman Corey Herring, with criminal conspiracy with an accomplice to remove items from Wal-mart Store, Hometown, and failing to have a driver's license.Dennis Ray Yeater, 24, of 307 Race St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Houser, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia while stopped on Oak St.Harry James Strain, 19, of 25 S. Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Patrolman Brent Getz, with possession of drug paraphernalia in his vehicle when stopped on E. Blaine St.Jarred Folweiler, 22, of 59 Jones St., Quakake, Rush Township, charged by Rush Patrolman Corey Herring, with DUI of alcohol after his vehicle rolled over on Marion Avenue, near Hinkle Road, in Barnesville last April 21.George Kolar, 62, of 3002 Wetzel Run Road, Weatherly, charged by Rush Patrolman Richard Bekesy, with impersonating a public servant and violating the maximum speed limit on Claremont Avenue by traveling 62 miles-per-hour in a 45 zone. The information filed to court charges Kolar claimed he was a deputy sheriff from Carbon County and was doing confidential drug investigation, however, the officer who was a former deputy sheriff in Carbon County, who knew he was not on the staff.Lindsey Wilcox, 24, of 136 N. Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Patrolman William Curilla, with DUI of alcohol last April 27 in the 100 block on N. Kennedy Drive, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failing to have a driver's license.Jason J. Dahm, 321, of 732 Broad St., Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, charged by Rush Patrolman Adam Sinton, with possession of a CS, and drug paraphernalia while fishing in Tuscarora State Park.Benjamin Andrew Kuzo, 21, of 4 Dogwood Lake, Lake Hauto Development, Rush Township, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Houser, with DUI of drugs when stopped at the Beacon Diner on SR309, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a CS and drug paraphernalia, and failing to activate his turning signals when required.Michael Wimer, 22, of 215 E. Elm St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with retail theft from Advanced Auto Store of merchandise valued at $150 last May 8.Richard S. Sidle, 20, of 613 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Peter Wysochansky, with criminal attempt to commit theft of a bike owned by Howard Boyer, 108 Schuylkill Avenue, theft, receiving stolen property, and loitering and prowling at night.Gregory Anthony Macalush, 20, of 21 W. Third St., Jim Thorpe, charged by Rush Sgt. Duane Frederick, with retail theft from Tamaqua Game Shop 45 Plaza Drive, of two game controllers valued at $144.Carrissa Ann Whateley, 13, of 49 E. Abbott St., Lansford, charged by Coaldale Chief Timothy Delaney, with criminal mischief by smashing a television set while a patient at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, causing $618 in damages.Daniel Jacob Snyder, 26, of 30 Penn Avenue, Palmerton, charged by Cpl. Leo R. Luciani, state trooper, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after driving his vehicle off Kepner's Road in West Penn Township and striking a tree.John Edward Klein Jr., 28, of 330 Fillmore St., Bethlehem, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman David T. George, with possession of a CS in 300 block of Centre St.Robert Dennis Rotkiske, 55, of 353 Mush Dahl Road, Apt. 3, New Ringgold, charged by Trooper James C. Nestico with DUI of alcohol following a one car crash of SR895, east of Church Street, West Brunswick Township, last June 4, when his car went down an embankment. Also charged with failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and careless driving.Kimberly Hons, 32, Mahanoy City, charged by Mahanoy City Lt. John Kaczmarczyk, with DUI of alcohol and drugs, driving the wrong way on a one way roadway, careless driving. She struck a parked vehicle on E. Race St.Robert Joseph O'Boyle, 40, Mahanoy City, charged by Mahanoy City Cpl. Michael Dissinger, with DUI of alcohol. O'Boyle was also charged with DUI by Patrolman Jonathan McHugh.Stephen Paul Misto, 32, Hazleton, charged by Rush Patrolman Corey Herring, with criminal conspiracy and retail theft from Wal-mart Store, Hometown, of two televisions and other items with a total value of $525.Charles Augustin Blake, 23, Hazleton, charged by Patrolman Herring with retail theft of 25 assorted video games from Wal-mart Store, Hometown, valued at $579.Andrea L. Dinofa, 35, Lost Creek, charged by county drug task force with two counts each of delivery of a CS to a CI consisting of five bags of crack cocaine for $140 in Mahanoy City, two counts of possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.Scott Allen Parsons, 23, Orwigsburg, charged by Orwigsburg Sgt. John P. Koury, with simple assault, harassment, and recklessly endangering Kane Wagner.
