A Lehigh County driver was cited following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 2:49 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, along Independent Road, in Weisenberg Township.

State police at Fogelsville said Francis G. Fliszar, 48, of New Tripoli, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado truck when he fell asleep behind the wheel. The truck left the road and struck a boulder.Fliszar was not injured but the truck sustained major front end damage, troopers said. He was cited for driving on roadways not laned for traffic.
